Section 1: Club Meetings and Membership Strategies

Meetings can be fun and bring in new members! Discussion in this session will cover what a president can do to ensure that club meetings are: 1) fun, 2) entertaining and educational and 3) a solid reflection of your club’s leadership.¬† We also will discuss strategies for membership growth.2016-chesapeake-pets_216

Section 2: Solving Problems and Building Consensus

Enhancing the effectiveness of you club’s board of directors. In this session, we will discuss effective leadership styles in developing a consensus and communicating the board’s decisions with club members¬† We also will discuss some issues that may come before the board.

Section 3: A Look at Club Finances

Club Budgets-Operating and Charitable

We will discuss fundraising ideas and why you need discretionary funds to impact your local and international community. And, we’ll discuss putting together a budget-separating operating expenses from community donations.

Section 4: Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation

Involving your club with Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation.

In this session, we’ll do a brief review of Rotary International and our Rotary International Foundation. We’ll also talk about District resources and introduce YOUR “Countdown to Club Leadership,” We’ll provide a brief overview of Rotary Club Central. 2016-chesapeake-pets_218
